- Armed robbers attacked a bullion van belonging to a new generation bank in Ondo State yesterday Wednesday 5th July 2017.
Thank God no lives were lost after armed robbers ambushed and attacked, raining bullets on a new generation banks bullion van on Akure-Ondo road yesterday, hoping to cart away money but were disappointed.
According to eye witnesses, the empty bullion van with police escorts were going to Akure when the Armed bandits came from the bush and started raining bullets on them. Pictures of the vehicles showed that the robbers attempted to kill the escort driver who was smart enough to reverse swiftly while bullets pierce the car all over.

A counter attack by the police officers on board made the robbers disappear into the nearby bush.
